This mug is food-safe and microwave/dishwasher safe but I recommend handwashing for longevity.

It can be used for coffee, tea, water, wine, really any liquid (or snack if you’d like).

All mugs are wedged into a ball from a clay block and thrown on the wheel. Once the mug is centered, I pull the walls up to the height and then form it into its shape. I then will dry it a little with the propane torch and the take it off the wheel to dry overnight so I can flip it upside down onto the wheel head and trim the bottom. This allows me to give it its final shape and smooth out the sides of the wall. After I pull the handle from a long coil, I’ll flatten the top edge of the handle and attach it to the top side of the mug and curve it down to attached the bottom of the handle. Up next is to stamp the bottoms with my logo, dry completely over a few days and then bisque fire. Once the kiln is cool, I’ll wipe off the clay dust from the pot and glaze the inside and outside and then glaze fire the mug. The final step is to sand the bottom into a smooth surface and wash the cup. The mug is now ready to enjoy.
