30 Collection is a special one - each pot is embellished with gold and has black underglaze designs fired into the clay.

Pots with gold are NOT microwave/dishwasher safe. All are food safe.

Each 30 Collection pot has a 30 stamped on the bottom to ensure unique and collectable.

All mugs are wedged into a ball from a clay block and thrown on the wheel. Once the mug is centered, I pull the walls up to the height and then form it into its shape. I then will dry it a little with the propane torch and the take it off the wheel to dry overnight so I can flip it upside down onto the wheel head and trim the bottom. This allows me to give it its final shape and smooth out the sides of the wall. After I pull the handle from a long coil, I’ll flatten the top edge of the handle and attach it to the top side of the mug and curve it down to attached the bottom of the handle. Up next is to apply the glaze transfer and stamp the bottoms with my logo, dry completely over a few days and then bisque fire. Once the kiln is cool, I’ll wipe off the clay dust from the pot and glaze the inside and outside and then glaze fire the mug. Once glaze fired, each pot is cleaned and hand painted with gold luster very carefully and then fired again. The final step is to sand the bottom into a smooth surface and wash the cup. The mug is now ready to enjoy.
